Entity Theatre Workshop Series 2019 – An Actors Workshop

About the Workshop:
Dasha and Bogdan will lead you through one of the most well-known approaches to acting. This technique, developed by Konstantin Stanislavski, focuses on understanding WHO the character is, WHAT they want and HOW they achieve it. This workshop will encompass warm-ups to help explore the material we will be discovering, breakdown of script work, understanding and discovering characters, and lastly using this newly acquired knowledge to bring theoretical work to life.
Who is it for?: Entity members, non-members, all are welcome to attend this workshop. Some previous acting experience is appreciated; but, not required.

About the facilitators:
Dasha Ivanov: Dasha’s love for acting began in Canada where she performed in both French and English on various theatre stages on the East Coast. She made her debut with Entity Theatre as Sir Andrew Aguecheek in Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night. Dasha is excited to share her passion and knowledge of all things Stanislavski.
Boggers: Boggers has been a proactive member of Entity Theatre since 2014. He has acted in multiple plays and has directed two plays with Entity Theatre. Boggers is proud to share his insights and experience into acting such as breaking down a script and developing the character.
