Here are some answers to the most frequently asked questions about Entity:

When is the next workshop?

We publish our workshop schedule under the Entity Academy tab on our website. If there are no workshops listed there, that means we currently don’t have any planned. We also publish a monthly newsletter where we announce all upcoming projects and encourage you to sign up here.

How do I get involved with Entity Theatre?

We’re always looking for passionate people committed to helping out with our productions. If you are interested in acting, the best way to get involved is to attend our Academy workshops or take part in one of our special events – or just come to an audition! If you are interested in helping off-stage, from costumes and makeup to set design, sound and light, and stage management, please contact us at info at entitytheatre . com.

Who is eligible to join?

Membership is open to anyone aged 15 and over who is interested in theatre and willing to support our productions.

How do I become a member?

At present, the only way to become a member is to participate in a production. Speculative applications for membership are currently not being accepted.

My child is really passionate about theatre. Do you have workshops/roles for children?

We do not accept participants under 15 years of age at our workshops or in our productions. But feel free to talk to us if you have a specific request.

I’m currently studying theatre and I’d love to do an internship with you! How do I apply?

We’re an amateur theatrical society run by our members. We don’t have our own theatre or employ any staff and are therefore not able to offer internships. However, if you would like to work on one of our productions, please contact us at info at entitytheatre . com

Hi, I’m a playwright. Will you accept my script for your next production?

Please email us your script at info at entitytheatre . com. We are more than happy to look at your script and give you feedback. We also host regular playreading sessions and are happy to accept original scripts for these.

How often do you put on productions?

Our aim is to stage three or more major productions per year. As productions require the support of volunteers, the more active our membership, the more productions we can offer.
