Ken Ludwig’s Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery

 

 

Grab your deerstalker, the game’s afoot! The world’s most famous detective is about to embark on his most dangerous and infamous case!

After the sudden, mysterious death of Sir Charles Baskerville, his nephew – Sir Henry – arrives at Baskerville Hall as heir to the family fortune. But is Sir Henry doomed by the family curse? Or will Sherlock Holmes and his trusty sidekick Dr John Watson crack the case before the hound of the Baskervilles strikes again?

In Ken Ludwig’s Baskerville: A Sherlock Holmes Mystery, a cast of just five actors will transport us to 1890s London and Devonshire, to bring over 30 characters to life in this fast-paced comedy murder mystery.

Performance Dates: 21 – 24 Nov and 27 – 30 Nov. All performances start at 19:30 except for the show on 24 Nov which starts at 15:00. Tickets cost €18 (concessions: €12). All performances are in English.

Performances are at Pepper Theater, Thomas-Dehler-Str. 12, 81737 Munich (U5 Neuperlach Zentrum).

FAQs:

The performance I wanted to watch is sold out! Is there any chance for more tickets?
In case a performance is shown as sold out at MünchenTicket you can check if tickets are still available on the Pepper website (link). The reverse is also true: In case tickets for a perfomance cannot be reserved via the Pepper website there might be tickets available at MünchenTicket (link). Please also note: Ticketing is completely handled by Pepper Theater. In case of questions or requests regarding tickets please contact MünchenTicket or Pepper Theater directly.

How long does the show last?
Running time is approximately 2.5 hours, including interval. Evening shows end around 22:00. The matinee ends around 17:30.

When can I get into the theatre?
Box office opens at 19:00 and the auditorium opens between 19:15 and 19:20.

Is this performance in English or German?
All performances are in English.

Will there be an interval?
Yes, there will be a 15 min. interval.

Is there a bar at the theatre?
Yes, the bar will be open for 30 minutes before the show starts, during the interval, and after the show finishes. You will also find a small Holmes-themed art exhibition and selfie photo booth in the foyer while you wait for the show to start and during the interval.

Can I reserve a seat?
No – there is free seating for all performances. Therefore it is not possible to reserve specific seats.

Who can I contact in case of ticketing questions?
Entity does not handle ticketing for this play. Therefore please address anything related to your tickets either to MünchenTicket or Pepper Theater directly depending on where you purchased your ticket.

Is the theatre wheelchair accessible?
Pepper Theater is NOT wheelchair accessible.

Will I be able to watch the play if I feel sick?
In case you feel sick and have cough, fever or you show symptoms of cold please refrain from watching the play. Furthermore the venue reserves its right not to allow people into the audience if they show symptoms due to illness.

Where can I park my car?
Do NOT park your car in the parking garage of the PEP shopping mall! The parking garage closes when the shopping mall closes and you have no access to your car until it reopens! Parking is limited to public parking spaces.
It is recommended to use public transport. U-Bahn stop “Neuperlach Zentrum” (U5) is very conveniently only a few steps away from Pepper Theater.
