What If I… Acting Workshop with Tim Habeger

A hands-on workshop for actors and directors that give playmakers useful tools to move the story forward. This workshop will involve some physical work and partnering with other actors. It is a text-based workshop aimed at exploring useful tools to make your stagework have a bigger impact on the core structure of the story.

Tim Haberger is the co-founder of PushPush Arts. He has spent over 25 years developing the organization as a nonprofit arts incubator and supporting hundreds of artists. Mentored by Ellen Stewart, Sanford Meisner, and Joseph Chaikin, he worked in New York with The Neighborhood Group Theater and at AMDA, later receiving a Rockefeller Award for Arts Education. He has supported artists such as Deborah Kampmeier, David Cross, and Donald Glover, and co-founded initiatives including the Portal International Exchange and Dailies Filmmakers. Since 2001, he has also collaborated regularly with theatre groups in Munich and Berlin, and is currently developing a new play about Travel with actors in Berlin, Atlanta, and Bristol.
