What a stunning weekend journey into the eccentric Bliss country home, with two casts offering two unique interpretations of the wonderfully unpredictable world of this charming, bohemian family. The production was further elevated by the musical accompaniment of the Hay Fever Jazz Combo, featuring a number of ESME musicians and a fantastic pianist. 

The atmosphere everyone brought to the shows was nothing short of magical, and the music was simply beautiful. 

A heartfelt thank you to everyone involved in making this production such an outstanding hit.

Welcome to the Bliss household, where the only thing more dramatic than the acting is the houseguests’ confusion. Retired actress Judith Bliss, her author husband David and their spoilt children Simon and Sorel have each invited a guest for the weekend – without telling one another. What follows is a whirlwind of misunderstood flirtations, high-stakes party games, and peak British social awkwardness. 

 

Noël Coward’s Hay Fever is a shimmering comedy of manners where the hosts are impossible and the guests are desperate to escape. Fast-paced, witty, and wickedly funny, it’s a masterclass in domestic chaos. Will the guests survive with their dignity intact once the weekend is over?
